This 27,000 square foot, $15 million redevelopment of the once-vacant historic Hebrew Institute building in the West Bronx is now a state of the art Boys and Girls Club. As Owners Rep, we developed the original Master Plan, feasibility study and funding streams for the project. We oversaw the project from design though construction and move-in. This was a complicated project starting with the disposition of a long-abandoned city-owned property with HPD and then developing an ambitious gut renovation with NYCHA and multiple city-agencies. The end product, a streamlined, efficient and aesthetically exciting modern facility, has been teeming with members from the day of its opening.
